Psone/ps2 Power Cable

are psone power cables compatible with ps2s?

i seem to have lost my ps2 power cable

in the uk

Yes, altleast I used a ps/one cable on a PS2 and it did not blow up, but I beleive they are the same.

yes. ps and ps2 use a generic type of power cable that's actually used by a few other consoles, as well as other electronics like portable stereos, dvd players, etc.

yeah as someone said it just a generic type of plu, also the same with pc ones, they use the same type of plugs kettles use. :D

One time i lost a PS2 power cable and i tried using the one in my Sony Stereo system and it worked!!! :lol:

I've used a PS1 power cable with a PS2, and a Dreamcast. Worked like a charm!
