Connection Problem Edonkey And Shereaza?

I need to download some files from edonkey which are very important for me (about 100M). I installed both edonkey60 and shereaza 18w8 but non could connect to network. I am behind a firewall and I don't know how to find a way to solve the problem. I am new bee and need help. Please post you connection problems experiences for people like me to learn and use.

some edonkey servers will connect, even if you are behind a firewall. Even I have a firewalls which makes shareaza gives a "lowid" error when connecing.
You can use the firewall advanved rules to make it accept all the connections to edonkey. I can't help u setup ur firewall, because there are many firewalls out there...
