I was downloading a tv show and managed to download 400 megs of it then suddenly my comp crashes and when I rebooted it I re opened k-lite and the file wasn't there, its gone and I was wondering if there was anyway of getting it back?

it got deleted probably becasue the dat file was corrupted. There is a tool called datrepair that you might try, but more than likely it is history.
