I just did a clean xp install like 10 minutes ago, then I downloaded the kl codecpack 2.20 and the latest quicktime alternative and while I was installing that piece of shit
my antivirus software gave me a warning that there was a virus detected in both of the installz. the virus name whas w32.dumaru.z@mm. Now I know that you motherfuckers planted it there but what I dont understand is why the fuck u did this.

must be a false alarm cuz Nod32 don't detect anything & neither does KAV.

I've installed both fine and just to be sure scanned them with AVG and Norton, nothing came up. Either it was a false alarm or you're trolling.

That's very strange cuz im 100% positive that there was a virus alert

There might have been, what AV do you use? It could have been that that was wrong, or maybe it was something else on your system when the alert went off...

It's a mail worm. More info here (http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.dumaru.z@mm.html).
It was probably already present on your system or you got an e-mail that contained it.

Sorry to hear that happened.
Here's my 2 cents:
Its possible to have a virus on other partitions than where you installed the "clen-install", the viri has many ways and places to hide, even if you format the C drive and have clean install.
Maybe do a Scan on your Computer, or get the tool to remove the Viri and run that,
just in case it might be hiding somewhere.
Personally i dont think edskes would have a viri in his mirrors, but if so,
i dont think ita intention.

Number of people who have downloaded those files - lots
Number of people who have said they got a virus from it - just you
weird...
Also did you reformat your entire drive or just the partition with windows?
And what AV are you using?

He's either troll bait or a computer schlock, either way nothing to see here except
severe lack of technology IQ.
No viruses found on klite codec packs of that I scanned either.

Don't open unknown email attachments and scan all downloads and you won't have a problem.
