Do I need to forward the ports in my router for it?...Wil I recive lower pings if I do?

I just found out which ports to forward...But it seems that I need to forward the ports also for the game I play...so my Next quastion is ...How do I found out which ports the game uses??

hrmm, i use ase and when i had a router i never had to do this. my pings were always good. sorry... :(

I think my problem is that I have two computers in my home ...and when the other one is on I get bad connections...how good pings do u get?

had 2 pc's also and got pings as good as 30. ;)

Probably got better connection then me?...what do u have ..dsl/cable?
