Nicotine 1.0.7 Soulseek Problem

I have just installed nicotine and installation went ok but I can not connect to any server. Does anyone know what has to be done before I can connect with nicotine? :huh:

was reading through the soulseek board a little and it seems you must select a download folder before it will connect.

also port 2240 must be open.
