Searching For A User

Is it possible that kazaa will be able to search for users eventually?
I mean so many people here chat now on this forum with the PMs and quotes!!!!!!
Just a thought for more confident sharing between buddies.

The best way I know of is too have a rare file i.e. Harry Potter ;) Give the sig2dat to a friend and see if they start to download from you, then share away. The problem at the moment is the fasttrack network has no real unique way of identifying user, username can be changed, IP changes too often and there is no real way to insure that you get on the same supernode. Its a distributed network spread over the whole globe so it's going to be difficult to hook up with one of millions. Maybe with this Sharman born idea of Kazaa Plus there will have to be a unique key to identify those who have paid for the service.

If you want to exchange stuff directly try IRC, IRQ, FTP or (hmmm) MSM.

you could also share a text-file, with your username in it e.g. user101.txt

Yeah I know that but what I mean if we have different buddies around the world then say we are allowed so many for the space required then we can share amongst us with genuine files with auto resume downloads.
That would speed up our downloads too so then we can post to forums as verifieds so everyone gets them quicker.

I suppose it could be done but at a price maybe VB will answer this cos we all got buddies around the world. :D :D
