Kl Mega Codec Pack - Trojans?

I have just installed the KL mega codec pack on to my system today after reinstalling XP and my virus scan has identified all the real player and quick time alternatives as beeing infected with a trojan called Demfire F.

Wtf is going on? that didnt happen when I installed it 5 weeks ago on a different pc.


Any one got any ideas or anything? My av was unable to disinfect the files <_<

I will do but I want to make sure its not my AV being a bit funny.

I just checked my system with a trojan scanner called The Cleaner and it came out okay :blink:

Try the NOD32 scanner from Edskes page to see if that detects anything.

Never fear, I think it was just something odd going on :rolleyes:

I scanned it with the cleaner and it was ok, I turned off system restore scnned with my av again and nothing came up so i turned system restore on again and everything seems fine :D

I may just do it anyway though :)
