The following updates and improvements have been made to Edskes.com today:

- New Final version: K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.03
- New Final version: K-Lite Codec Pack 2.27 Full, Standard & Basic
- New Final version: Nero CD-DVD Speed 3.10
- Updated FFDShow DirectShow decoding filter
- Updated McAfee Stand-Alone Anti-Virus
- Updated NOD32 Stand-Alone Anti-Virus
- Added Spybot Search & Destroy 1.3 (next to Ad-aware 6.00 build 181)
- Added Mozilla
- Added the following note to the Final Builds Site: "Filesharing clients are completely free. Ignore the fraudulent scam sites that ask money for them. Filesharing clients also do not require subscriptions of any kind: these subscriptions do not exist. If you do have been tricked in paying, then contact your creditcard company to see if the money can be refunded."
- Added information about Microsoft Windows Update
- Added more Release Notes to the Final Builds Site
- Minor fixes and improvements

how about a pretty backgound and a nice banner for the title (there could be a contest here for the banner)

maybe you could use java script or something to make the mirrors appear only when you click on the name.

How does this relate to

Just wondering, because there was a load of bother fairly recently about people posting about their own website in this area of the board.

Have to agree, just seems like a reason to advertise his website...and on the website it is also linking to illigal file downloads, and were not alowed to link to illigal file dwonloads such as cracks and so on... Spose Error better remove his signature and deleat this thread...

First I must say your website is the best :D. Keep up the good work :) .

My suggestion is to anchor (or bookmark) links on the Final Builds Site. Example If I click on eMule 0.43a Filesharing then on the Final Builds Site (http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/finalbuilds.htm) I can just goto the eMule section.

Edskes has always had his site here for aslong as I remember, I think he has some kind of permission. :unsure:

I dont have problem with Edskes topics in the forums,
and here's few ideas of IMO:

For instance, I dont see Edskes posting like, (like some other folks did)
"Go here" and linking to his Forums to register , I dont even know if he has forums.
I dont think Edskes is here to Advertise his forums, so to speak.
Plus, he dont hear him whinge about how awfull Mods/Admins we have here,
that probably helps a bit too.

He has, what, to topics here?

And I think that Edskes been one of the dudes who had the KLite++ for Download
way back when that was Developed here,
has something to do also.

And, i guess Error and Edskes both does work on the Codecs, maybe even together?
I dont know for sure, just guessing.

Plus, im a fanboy of teh MegaCodecPack, thats the only codecpack I've been using
since it came out. Works for me.

The thread is even called Edskes.com Website.

If he / she has a special arrangement with this sites owners that's cool, it's between them. However it is double standards.

I have no problem with that, if it was my forum I would certainly give mates special treatment.

I have to say I agree on this. I think General Codec Discussions would be more appropriate, but if Error or other Admin Staff arranged it or feel otherwise, by all means move it back. :rolleyes:
