Can You Download A File From More Than 8 Sources?

Hey,

Does anyone know if its possible to download from more than 8 sources for the same file? If so how?
Because I can download multiple files. But when I'm downloading a particular file and I click find more sources
it finds up to 8 but it'll never let me download from more than 8 sources for 1 file. So I'm just wondering if there is anyway around that? Any ideas would be great, if you have an idea please email me at cipherfx@attbi.com

I think we could do with more sources so we can get the download quicker!

This number is hard-coded in the application. That means there is no way to change it.

...unless you change the app, that is. The hardest part would be to find the code that checks for max 8 sources.

I am more interested in the upgrade message being removed -or- cheating enabled in 2.0.2

I hardly ever download from 8 sources at the same time for a single files. 3 or more even almost never happens. Maybe for very popular mp3s, but those will already download in a couple of minutes anyway.

I'm glad if i can download a file from only one with a descent speed, descent for me is everything above 2k. Just have too many files waiting or kicked of every time. Download speeds are pretty slow at the moment sometimes luckily you get real good ones. If you make it possible to get more uploads you're making it even harder for neat people to download cause in no time there would be a new cheater tool.

I don't know how the battle is on your upload slots but i see lot of people start downloads get kicked off. Almost no one finish their downloads from me no more. Think that's only getting worse. At the moment 13 downloads at total 60k, wow. 25 are looking for more sources. <_<
