Duplicitous desktop deception This one takes quite a few steps, so follow closely. Make a screenshot of the desktop
1. Wait until your target goes to a meeting (this will take longer than a simple bathroom break.)
2. Go to the desktop.
3. Press ALT + Print Screen. The Print Screen button is usally to the right of the F12 key.
4. Open Microsoft Paint (Start -- > Programs -- > Accessories)
5. Paste (CTRL + V) your desktop pic into the Paint window.
6. Click Yes when Windows warns you that the image in the clipboard is larger than the bitmap.
7. Save the image where you'll be able to find it.Remove everything from the desktop
8. Make a new folder on target's desktop.
9. Move all of target's icons into a folder.
10. Move folder into the My Documents Folder.Change the background
11. Go back to the desktop.
12. Right-click on an empty area of the desktop.
13. Choose properties.
14. Click the background tab.
15. Click Browse, and find the saved Paint document.
16. Click Open.
17. Under Display, choose Stretch.
18. Click Apply.
19. The final trick is to click on the taskbar and drag it off page so it is no longer visible. (If you've followed all the steps correctly to this point, you should see a fake, unclickable taskbar beneath it.)When your mark returns to the computer, he or she will no longer be able to click on any desktop icons. Mmhahahahah.
Note 1: The icons have not been removed, but safely stored in the My Documents folder, which you can get to through the Start Menu.
Note 2: You won't be able to move some icons (My Computer, Recycle Bin, etc.) You can either use Active Desktop to hide the desktop icons or you can leave a few icons on the desktop. That way when they tell you they have a problem you can click on one of the icons that works and say, "What problem?" Heeheehee...
