WinSP2 and Slow Internet

I just installed Windows XP SP2 and everything seems fine,
but there is one little thing,
now my Internet surfing and my ARES Downloads just won´t go fast.
Before, I had 32kbps downloads (good for my conection speed).
I checked my conection many times, and is fine (340 to 380kbps).
Does anyone have any sugestions for this case?

I never noticed myself , but some people have had problems with the sp2 patch. Have you checked winupdates . Clean temps and cache , defrag . It seems like everybody and their dog has internet problems lately. :crying:

Doesn't SP2 have the peer connection limit thingy?
There is a fix, but I can't remember where.

download and install xpantispy it has a tweak to change that connection limit.

not sure if that will solve your problem but worth a try.
