I want to connect 2 PC via Lan I wonder if the LAN cable that use from the SpeedStream DSL Modem to my PC it will work for PC to PC...

And what settings should I change in my control panel ?

You'll need a crossover cable where the send of one end is connected to the receive on the other end and vice versa. Otherwise you'll need a router/switch.
