The invites worth thread needs to be rethinked.

It's amazing how many ppl dog TL but every where you look ppl are asking for an invite. IMO i love TL my fav site nxt to Bitmetv now.

I think that's why we are doing Reviews on Trackers on the sticky thread,i agree that the trackers there are rated by rarity but if u checked the reviews u would see all the ratings including conent,pre times,speed,.....

so why don't u guys read the available reviews and decide what trackers u want

Also i think there could be a way to range the value of different sites. For example an FTN power (200G up) account is worth a hell of alot more than an invite. Pisexy, you cant get invites unless youve been a member for at least 12 weeks, an invite would also be worth alot less there. A place like F*** you only need to wait 2 weeks (with 25G up) to get invites, so the range would be smaller on that one. Also, you could range sites with actual value and rarity. So TL would be something like [ TL: 2 - 4 ]

Thats another way we could change the system so people wouldnt be so concrete and stuck about the numbers.

I started writing some things but ended up kinda writing a book or so, so here's a synopsis:
The Invites thread now more is hindering trades as kavalchuck said that promoting them.. the reason is that sites are rated based on some ppl's only opinion not to mention that some other deliberatelly want to pump up values to gain more
And as another guy said, I 've never seen the value of something being based only on supply but not on demand.. Really, who would want a U*** acc if it wasn't on that thread?? Nobody I guess.. Same with RP.. same with Revolt .. and some others...
My own opinion is that it should be purged and a new one , which doesn't rate, but only reviews popular/good sites (number of torrents etc.) should be made so that anyone could simply check what he really wants and not bothering with getting acc lvl x to get lvl z to get finally acc y ....
Anyway I have a lot to write on this but gonna check how the conversation is going and come again..
ps. One of the worst things is that that thread has been used more than one time from some ppl for personal gain, to pump up a sites' value they have etc... If you have sticked for a while in this forum you should already have noticed .. Some ppl I also think act as a "group"... Anyway..later

You know, i agree 100% and i think im gonna update my post tomorrow with that. It might solve all the problems we have here if we did that, then listed how often, or how you get invites. Because thats really how we determine value, and why not just get to the core of it.
