I just don't understand why trackers give bonuses for idling on IRC. It's not in any way shape or form connected to torrents. Seeding bonuses, yeah, but IRC bonuses I don't get.

In a way you are right, but I think that eventually, in some of the trackers you're idling you'll start talking with other people and eventually you'll become more active.. For example, say you are waiting for a download to be completed.. Just so that time passes you might take a look at mirc and see an interesting discussion going on , so you might jump into it and... you get the point I hope
