266kbps-1mbps (average dsl and cable speeds in UK and US)
1-2.5mbps (pretty fast dsl or cable)
2.5-5mbps (fast cable and dsl)
5mbps+ (very fast connection

Can anyone in the UK here, check out UK Online (.net) and see if they're able to get the 8MB service in their area when it's released next year. I'm in London (not a rural part) and I'm unable. Maybe others will get better results?

mine is supposed to be 1mbps but it tops out at a steady 112k. i cant be arsed to do the maths but i think thats over 1 mbps
