Theres a gurl that lives a couple houses over from my house. Shes 14 but for some reason I really like her. I talk to her alot, becuase shes my friends sister. So, I know her pretty well.

I also know that she likes me too. And several times she has come on to me, and asked me out. Actually she tells me that she loves me, and that she will wait as long as she has to for me.

But I feel that theres no way i can do that. ..Well I now know some new rules in Canada, after a little research, and if the gurl is 14 or older she can date and have consensual sex wiht an adult..

But still the age difference, may cause questioning in society!

What is your opinion ??

14 and 18..only 4 years away..

That is not really far off..
When you're still young like this, it feels weird..

But around 25-30, the ages to get marry, ages that is 4 away off, wouldn't be a big deal..

I know a couple that the wife is 25, and the husband is 31, their relationship is going great.

So, I dont think 14 and 18 isnt a big problem..

But I want to warn you that, it's hard to hold a relationship..
90% that couples broke up..

whatever you do be careful you know wot 14yr olds are like for tellin their mates and if adults hear they could take it the wrong way

Her mother likes me alot, and everytime i go over, they tease me about it.

Yeah, then when shes 18 you will be 22 thats not that much of a difference but then I don't think that you can compare that with a 25 and 31 yr old because i think that there is more of a difference in maturity between an 18 yr old and a 22 yr old which is different between a 25 yr old and a 31 yr old unless what ur saying is that their situation was similar to leafs situation in the way that they had 6 years between them like when they began dating she was 18 and he was 24
