And serach for 'Windows Genuine' and yeah dl whatever since they all same pretty much, and unzip/rar/etc... and put the file in BOTH c:/Windows/System32(OverWrite) AND this is important AND in the following location: c:\windows\softwaredistribution\download\6c4788c9549d437e76e1773a7639582a\

I didn't put it there and the nagging continued but was otay on main screen.

Just remember to use the custom option vs. the express option in WU. And if you have WU set to autonotify & install WU's. Change that to just notify NOT install. Then don't install WGAN. Right now this works.

why even dl this? i saw it and just ignored it. told ms updates to not tell me of this update anymore. don't be gay and dl shit that will hurt ur os and READ what the actual update is.

I have a problem that I need sum help with. I have just bought an MP3 player & tried to install software. An error message came uo saying that SP1 was required & the software couldnt be loaded. I gather SP1 relates to Windows XP professional and its not only my computer because I burnt the XP cd. I need some advice on how to get the SP1 on my computer without buying the XP software & without losing all files on my computer. Please help!

Just do a system restore to the day before the update and then don't install the genuine advantage thing
