NZB Requests...

I just saw this post made by IKE...
requesting NZB's/torrents is not allowed (http://www.filesharingtalk.com/vb3/showpost.php?p=1168902&postcount=3)
Aren't NZB's considered "verifieds" thus exempt? It's not mentioned in the Forum Rules (http://filesharingtalk.com/?page=boardrules) either, but this will probably be changed.

You can't have requests for things to be uploaded because the uploads cant have anything to do with FST.

Technically it would only be uploading xml data though, and in no way be offering illegal downloads...
I don't care either way, I just sort of want to know how NZB's stand in legallities, and how they are viewed on this forum.

Its not really a question of if it could pass technically as theres just no point...

By NZB requests not being allowed we actually mean that requesting a movie be uploaded is not allowed. Not that asking for an nzb file is not allowed...

Alrighty, so in that sense wouldn't ed2k verifieds be classed the same?
They both do the same thing, in that it points a client to a verified file.
