You have to remember some of the people who frequent this forum have never seen a map of countries before.

Here's another map: http://www.odt.org/pictureembed.htm (Not working see the map in the link below).

Likewise with your map the reading on the above linked map is hard but with a very simple grasp of geography you shouldn't have any problems.

... but you can work out what most of them are, can you not?

Yes, the pink bit is Europe where they have a rampant need for bananas that they regularly take with them to sporting events and half the stadium throw them at black players. The sort of pale yellow bit is South America which is now wholly desert due to overfarming of bananas to feed the European's cruel racist jibes. The bulk of the purple bit is USA which is 300 years ahead of the rest of the world due to the fact that they do not throw bananas at their sporting events.

the physical size of each country has been changed according to how many people it has. i.e. mexico's much bigger, canada's really tiny.

I know that but many of the countries were hard to make out. What you need to do is get a proper map of the world.

Look to see where Nepal, for instance, is situated on the proper map. Then look on the population indicator map, cross reference the Nepal location and then you'll know which country you're looking at. (FYI- Nepal is situated over the top of India, in the middle).

Most folk have seen a world map enough times to do this without the need to look at a different map, but I do understand that you hardly look beyond your own borders.

Yes, it is at first, but if you keep practising you'll get the hang of it.

See Dick. See Jane. See Spot.
See Spot Run. Run Spot. Run, run, run.
Look, look, look. See, see, see.
See Spot run.
Run, run, run.
