i was looking trhough kazaa and i saw the matrix.. but it was one file and only one user had it so im not sure if its real.. anyone download a real copy of the movie?? or know if it came out yet, on the internet, not theaters..

I think the site is going to be huge if you actually do go out with it, but you do understand that if you do post a direct link to a download which can be downloaded off of ur server, the mpaa and your isp will do whatever they can do to take you down. I think you should just post sig2dats, that way your site will stay up and you most likely wont have any legal issues. but do what u want, if u do post a direct link i sure as hell will use it the day it comes out.. Its just it wouldnt be smart if u want to keep the site..

Well I dont think the MPAA will find this one site so soon. ;)
And refering to his ISP IMO you cant provide us with a direct download link with a broadband connection ie ADSL. It has way too less upload speed. But if you could post a direct download link from a .com server it would be greatly appreciated. :)

2)If they would mind why not disguising the link so that only those who knew where it was could find it, e.g having to click on a Neo's left arm in a picture.
3) Instead of hosting it why not as soon as you get it send it to the person here with the most bandwith and then you and the person you sent it to send it to one person each, each time it doubles, soon everyone will have it. Just a suggestion.

I think you should redesign the site. All you really did was make it so the main frame redirected to pages on the whatisthematrix.com site. Make it more unique and attractive. It takes a while, but trust me, you will get lots more hits.

Mayb you should transfer everything to a better server, there are some free host out there that have max bandwidth i think..

and it would be a good idea considering when you do get the links to the movie your server will be getting hundreds of hits by the minute

It not on IRC, or anywhere. It simply has not been ripped yet. Probably the soonest you'll see a non-subtitled version will be a few days before the American release. They often do advance screenings, and someone will probably snag a cam of one of those. Centropy will probably suprise us with an early release, I'd stake FC's name on it. :huh:

I believe he trying to say, your post is useless, all this talk about matrix reloaded, but come on, wasn't so nice of you to start this post and adv your website to everybody with that nice catchy title to your post, so many would click on it BECAUSE we all want this movie? Yeah..... I don't judge a post by the number of hits, since I believe everybody share different opinions about which post is good to view or not. I will take a look at the post that has NO hits first rather then this one, because I would wonder why nobody would reply or look at that post. Sometimes I feel bad if nobody will look at somebody's post because maybe he's trying to give a tip/helpful guide and some other thing, that he wants to help with or just being nice who knows. maybe thats just me.
Matrix is over-rataed, the more you hyper about it the more you will expect and maybe the movie won't live up to your expecting image. just my opinion.

well i guess i can tell you all what i know so far about the release..
all fakes have been removed off of irc as far as i know. except for one claiming to be a dvd screener, but its a fake obviously and its also 2.4 gigs or sumthing so yeah.
vcdqualitys matrix thread is basically inactive and fasttrackcentral.com doesnt have any news on teh matrix reloaded release either.
well, i am beggining to think we arent going to be seeing this release untill the week of the 15th.. mayb taht monday.. but we all must have hope!
ill keep you all posted. i might be one of the first to know of the release because a couple of my friends actually are involved in some of the release groups for warez and divx and such...(just fouind that out this week, heh)

I just realized something just now
When I went to X2 on saturday (the day after the release) there were 3 cops in the theater! One outside the door. Then one on each side of the theater.. Could this mean these cops are looking for cams and pirates?! And if thats wat it means imagine how much fucking security is gonna be at the matrix reloaded! :(

Torrent is 100% fixed. Audio on CD 2 is still off - sorry, it can't be helped. Video on CD 1 and CD 2 is great, audio on CD1 is good, Audio on CD2 is not that bad, just a lot of scratches and hiss noises.
Still, a great watch. When it comes to the theaters, go see it! THIS THING ROX!
and i have to say it not too secret is it, all people downloading/upload ip addresses are listed except for the last three digits and if you click on the ip address you can see otherthings there downloading

yes ive searched there... they are the music cd... from the soundtrack... there is 2 fakes listed... one is 4.5 gigs, the other 450 some megs... they are fake, go to the channels and see...

I really like to know something, when you created this website and keeping in mind you wanted to post matrix reloaded on that website for others to download, what was your defence when they will send you this type of latter or others like it? because as soon as it touchs your website, I'm sure illagel copyrighted software/movies/warez etc.... would mean "shutdown" or worse, they might send you a bill that you might need to pay for your actions. It would be a great idea for your website, dont just post bittorent and sig2dat links you also could post ed2k links an others for diffrent p2p programs you could also post links to the p2p programs if people dont know how to use the links.
Also have you used a submit program to submit your site to search engines?
The thing is the more traffic you have, the more likley your host/your server might crash the demand may be too great for it, look at at this forum or sharereactor they have many volunteers running there sites and they still go down.

night ass i think it was in this forum that someone posted the email they received from one of the film companys like warner or universal and it was a really long letter saying "you are going against act 52 of sanction blah blah blah, it wasnt just a simple letter so im pretty sure ures is fake. you can also download simple programs that let u send emails from what ever address u want so i wudnt worry.

Actually, the email program for the browser Mozilla and Netscape (I've only tested it with Mozilla, a Netscape using friend told me it works with it too) will allow you to choose the return address. Spoofing an email is one the easiest things in the entire world to do.

Just a thought, regarding earlier replies to my question: Those of us "newbies" who post a question here that may be answered elsewhere in the endless posts on the forum are not necessarily opposed to taking the time to find the answer by reading all of those posts. However, it seems more efficient (if one has little free time to do so) to simply ask a question that someone more familiar with the constant posts related to the comment can answer fairly simply, than to take time that one might not have much of to find that answer. So, please don't take it personally if I ask a question that I could find the answer to myself. They are all fakes. There is no leak out right now. If there was it would be on vcdquality.com. Why waste your time and HD space on these fakes?? PSHH
If you people dont realize, there is A LOT of security at the pre-screenings and if someone were to even try to get a leak out they would most likely fail and get caught by the cops. There were 3 cops in the theater when I went to see X2.
Although, from what I have heard from a source, a leak could be out as soon as this sunday (yes, tomorrow) I highly doubt it, but will see.
