yep, I thought it was lame too, could only bare to watch about 4-5 eps. It gets a very wide spread of ratings, some love it others hate it.
Personally I think it might be one for RPG fans? :unsure:

I don't remember it much, other than the music. So I guess it wasn't anything really special. Going to have a look at .hack//roots, it's been piling up but i haven't had the time to watch it yet.

lol, me too. i've got up to ep 19, but have yet to watch any of it. meh, i haven't seen any of the others either. well, i did watch ep 1 of the first series (whichever that was) and just moved on. i'll get back to it for i'm running low on anime to watch.
edit: new hack ps2 game cummin' out soon!

That's a terrible reason to hate the series. It was a very interesting concept based on MMOs.
