COD blows..its always the same run and gun game..just with better grafics. Dont get me wrong..multiplayer is always mint..but the single player always leaves me bored.

its true though, Brothers in Arms brought something new to the WW2 gameage. Call of Duty was too much alike Medal of Honor Allied Assault.

LOS ANGELES--When it was revealed at last year's E3, one of the biggest complaints about the PlayStation 3 was its controller. Shaped eerily like Batman's Batarang weapon, the controller's crescent-shaped design was not well-received by gamers.
At today's pre-E3 press conference, Sony demoed games on PS3 dev kits with a new controller--a wired, silver joystick that looked very similar to the PlayStation's DualShock controller.
Later in the press conference, Ken Kutaragi pulled a similar looking controller out of his jacket--this one without wires.
Phil Harrison joined Kutaragi on stage to show what it can do, saying that its "secret" couldn't wait any longer. The controller is motion sensitive. Harrison said it has "six degrees of freedom" with no external sensor required. The controller will come standard with the PS3.
The president of Incognito Games used the controller to demonstrate its capabilities with Warhawk, a PS3 title that was announced last year.

Brothers in Arms was probably the most repetitive game I've ever played.

STEAL IS A HARSH WORD. they may buy up development studios, publishing rights, run much bigger & better advertising campaigns than their competitors, etc, but at least they do all that fair & square.
remember the late '80s & early '90s, and how crooked NOA's (nintendo of america's) business tactics were. it wasn't just a matter of them offering the best product, they used unfairly monopolistic policies in dealing with game publishers and retailers.

of course people on the internet are already saying "hey ps3 controller is trying to copy nintendo's wii controller! omg sony are such bastards." but it is not the same product at all. if anything, the ps3 controller is similar to warioware twisted, one of the last GBA games, which had tilt sensors built into it.

eight days looks fun.
i'm getting doubts though about how good the ps3 really is. the COD3 trailer looks just like the COD2 one, but COD2 looks nothing like the trailer for it :dabs:
people always bullshit about graphics. i'm surprised the reggienator hasn't picked up on it. 'cause you know, it seems to me that apart from a cinematic for that disaster game. nintendo haven't tried to pass anything off as better than it really is :smilie4:

Sony's known for that, cut in some good old CGI and try to pass it as gameplay, and when asked if its gameplay footage "Oh ya ya, this footage is a representation of what the game will look like when finished" in other words, total bullshit. I'll retract that last comment if and only if Killzone2 looks as good (or better) than that trailer from last years E3.

lol, if I were you I would not purchase 360 unless you like the games that are out for it (or are coming out for it soon). Seriously, it's a paperweight nothing more. All the games out for it right now are hardly next gen, if you're a big halo fan go for it.
If I were you i'd just wait until late 2007, don't follow the crowd. By then, PS3 will have either proved itself or failed miserably and the we shall see how the Wii (goddamnit, awkward indeed) holds up. Not to mention by then more games will be out that utilize more power of the systems in question. Basically what I'm saying is wait until the dust clears, then go with the system that is best suited for you.

Yeah thats true...plus i found out how much debt im in...so i have to sell my xbox for money now...at least in 2007 i will have money hopefully :)

you need to work for a videogame company, a videogame distributor/retailer, or a videogame magazine/website (or a major newspaper, tv channel, or whatever). this does not guarantee admission though -- the convention organizers will still review your application, check your qualifications, and decide whether they want to let you in.
easiest way to gain admission would probably be: become a reporter/reviewer for a "professional"-quality videogame website. then you can fill out the application and say "look, i am a member of the press, here's a link to one of my articles that got published on this website, and i wanna attend the convention."
