hey what the hell is wrong? its a spiderman avi but it wont show video. i just see horizonatl lines of white and green

Green and White lines will almost always be a missing codec, I suggest you do as KrackHead2k suggests and download the divx codec, if that does not solve your problem, search this forum for codecs that were posted on several instances. Do not get frustrated and delete the movie, simply find the codec you need. One of the ways you in most circumstances can tell what codec you need is to right click the file and select properties, then click Summary tab and view the advanced data, in most cases you will see what audio and video codecs were used to encode and you will then know what codec to find. Let us know if this solved your problem.
