You can use Tmpgenc Plus to convert AVI to MPEG, then use Tmpgenc Dvd Author to convert MPEG to DVD (ifo, VOB) : CLICK HERE (http://www.klboard.ath.cx/bb/index.php?act=ST&f=17&t=31659&st=0&#entry219040)
Keep in mind you'll never regain the original quality of the DVD it was ripped from due to lost frames and bit rates.
