Xbox 360 Hi-Def problem

I've recently brought an LG RZ-26LZ55 HD Ready TV
I've the premium xbox pack with the HD cables anyhow if I plug the three component cables in and switch the switch to HDTV on the little box and set my TV to component mode nothing happens its just a blank screen.
Anyone want to have a crack and suggest whats wrong?

did u try changing the channel to video mode, or lets see , umm you said you switched it , well try just flipping the wires around liek play with it , there is no damage to be done , and if it works it works

Make sure you actually put the blue wire into the blue socket, red into red green into green (hey people are stupid nowadays, not to imply you are :P )
Switch the switch, then switch your TV through ALL the video modes, not just component, switch them through like vid1, vid2, etc. keep going till you find the xbox logo or w/e, make sure your xbox is on too eh :P

Think you may have to change the 360's setting too if it doesnt auto change.
