Hi
I need to cut / copy / paste parts of a video. I also want to select a part of a video, and create it as a new video. What FREE and Light-weight software do u recommend?
In the past, I have used Ulead and Adobe Premier. But these are very heavy applications. My laptop takes a long time to complete the editing operations with these software.
Is there any other good and light software that I can use.

without you specificing what format the video is in, I would suggest a blender and a bottle of castor oil.

try virtualdub, handles avi's and many types of mpg's, nothing else.

Currently, I have MPG and WMV
Can't one software handle all formats ?
