I've had my Sony MZ-N1 minidisc for a couple of months now, and to transfer mp3s to it, u have to convert them into ATRAC files first. I was wondering; seeing as the new kazaa lets u shar any file, will people start sharing openmg (.omg) files on kazaa instead of mp3s, or alongside them? after all, they are roughly the same size!

Is .omd the Atrac format? If so, didn't Sony put some kind protection on it to prevent it from being copied 5 times? I don't know whether it's been cracked, but that's the main reason I chose not to buy the sony player.
