You know day after day I look at discritions and find the same little note: 'SHARE OR BE CUT OFF" Well ets add a little tyo that MOST OF THE TIME these same FRICKEN LOSERS!! rename shit and ya end up trying to download say LOTR and get scooby doo movie or one famous movie that has made the round as several other title is Ghost Dog whats up with that one?.
FRICKIN little bitches need to grow up and get a life!!!! It talked about a partisipation rating well its hard to be even when you have to re-download the same files because the last twelve things ya tried were nothing NEAR what it said it was.
Sadly if you download programs theres now way of telling until its done but I now use the AviPreview program so as not to waste my time on movies.
But I'll tell you this I SHARE EXACTLY WHAT the file name says it is (with the exception of one of the above named misnamed files that someone starts to download before I have a chance to rename it. and on that note I will STOP sharing files if this bullshit keeps up with little funny daddy dick sucking LOSERS renaming files.

LoL i felt the same way awhile back when the new version of kazaa came out with the participation level - i was use to downloading and getting what i wanted and all of a sudden i started getting fake files - i would come to the point where i wanted to pull my hair out cause i kept getting fake files - ok maybe i wasn't that frustraded but my point is as you spend more time on kazaa you'll find ways to avoid fake files all togather its not tricky at all. But ya these retards wanting to beef up their participation level by renaming files is just fucking pathetic.....

BLostBoy is right about checking the filename...most of the time it's just the title and not the filename itself that's misnamed. But I got a Matrix 2 file that was actually a dumb Disney movie, tho I saved it for my niece.
So, you mean that these guys are just replicating their files to make their shared folder seem bigger?
Why would they do that when they can just leech?
I think that it's just someone's stupid childish idea of a clever joke. Kind of like ringing the doorbell and running away to laugh behind the bushes...

No deckard they change the file name to something thats popular on kazaa or a new Movie in the theaters or on DVD, that they know people will be interested in it and they do this so that as people download from them thinking its the real deal, their participation level goes higher - these assholes either are to fucking dumb to use kazaa cheater or they don't have a clue what so ever.

@BLostBoy -- you are right...that is without a doubt the most inept and idiotic share avoidance strategy I have ever heard of. Still, it's malicious...I throw out .7 Gb files all the time just because I don't like them, but think of what it might mean to someone with limited means who really, really wants the damn thing?

yea i had them runnins befor but i got smarter i figured out that you can almost tell if it a fake by:
1:checkin the size of the file!!!!
2:the file name is usally correct(like i spent all day and night gettin tony hawk 4 and i saw the file name as goofy's snowbording) sumtin times that will tell you!!!!!!
3:and i check it with the results of what i search for!!! i mean once you use kazaa for a while you will figuer out ways to identify these fakes!!!!!!!like me i can usally spot them at first glance its been a long time since i got a fake!!!!
pluse if these ppl would just share the right way and share interesting stuff they would have no problem (like a movie every time i get a movie i will have tons of ppl d/l'in off of me!!!!!! these ppl who name there files wrong are nuttin but panty waste aka used tampons !!!! i share nuttin but good files (im shareing 82 files and im steadly increasing my folder!!!! mostly rap and software you know good stuff like tupac/biggie/norton(i got almost everything they got out) musicmatch pluse key for upgrade and dfx with key for lifetime use (no demo) im gona add sum matalica / bush / creed(i luv creed) i say keep your files straight and proper and interesting and ppl will come to you for downloading!!!! and ppl say that (if your not shareing you will be cut off) cause there is alot of leaches on kazaa(ppl who dont share) and ppl are tired of it!!! and no, to that most ppl who say this are the same pricks renaming files to be false i say that all the time and my files are perfect and named correctly!!!! i make sure these file i do d/l off of kazaa are correct and work perfectly befor i share them if it dont work i dont share it!!!!! wrong name i dont share it!!!!! i only share programs that i have had good results with (like norton) and i share what i like (tupac/biggie/metalica/bush/creed/ex:::::)so if you see "killa-hill-nigga for the user your d/l'in off of then your gettin the best files possible!!!! i make sure its that way!!!!!!
