Grabbed the xvid by pukka yesterday, kept freezing in my standalone so converted it to dvd which sorted it.:)
DC is a great new Bond, played the part really well as a grittier and more believable character, the stunts are also very good and the gadgets are at a bare minimum.
Go see this movie, you'll love it.:D
ps, nearly cried when they did that to the Aston, even if it did break a world record.:cry:

saw it at cinema, good movie altho action, gadget and car scenes were lost from it. unlike most of bond movies this time title really matched the movie i mean 1/3 of the movie was about gambling and made in casino.
overall well made movie, personally i think DG was the reason which i liked the movie. i normally don't see movies at cinemas but this was worth it and i actually didn't fall asleep.

just got done watching this and it was pretty good. i was starting to get a little perturbed with all the love scenes, but it builds james bonds character i believe (for him to not trust ANYONE). i don't think that daniel craig is a good match for future james bonds films, but i can say he did fit the character for, if u will, a prequel and how james bond cums to be. he's careless, naive, and VERY energetic in this film. which is great! lol, james bond i'm used to is gadget this & gadget that and just plainly relies to much on explosives and what not. this guy just runs in there and destroys shit with his body. lol, man, he goes thru a lot in this film. i do concur with the chair scene which was a terrific touch. all-in-all it was a good film and a good watch. not necessarily for the james bond fans, but just action fans in general. i hope to see another "prequel" bond film be4 they decide with going to the present day bond we know today. daniel craig is currently in post-production for his 2nd bond film now titled, "bond 22".

Actually I liked this movie(and I dont really like James Bond movies) so I'd ercommend this to everyone(it has some nice parkour cenes which is always nice in an action movie :P)

The commercials on the streets look more like fashion ads than anything else.
Bond is dead, the original bonds created the mission impossible, transporter characters etc etc which we see in movies nowadays -
casino royale is sadly reflecting its own reflection and therefore fails terribly.
But as a stand alone movie of some awsumeness dude in the flow of the hundreds of others which exist nowadays, i will not remember this character.

Before I saw this movie, some friends of mine said that there was a part in this movie that guys would just hate... and for a couple days I was wondering to myself what could it possibly be.
After seeing the movie I know realize what it was. The disgusting ball busting scene in the movie where Bond takes quite a few shots to the nuts from the weight hanging off the rope. :sick: At first I was wondering what they were gonna do with this chair with no bottom; but I soon found out.
A pretty good movie overall though, I really liked the beginning where that jungle guy was hopping madly from object to object. It's a shame though there wasn't more scenes involving bonds car. Only got to see it in action for like 10 seconds, where it then got totalled. :lol:

The first scene after the opening credits (construction site) was great.
This movie was much better then the last 4 Bond movies.

I thought it was a very entertaining film. I loved the parkour chase around the building site, and the poker game was great.
I knew there had to be something dodgy about that woman, and also the venice building "sinking" was a bit bizarre, but it was a very good film. I hope he does another one. He's a bit harsh though, innee?
He seems to enjoy killing in cold blood, and I can't remember the other Bonds being like that, they only used to kill in self-defence.

Make sure you do... It's one of the best Bond movies I've seen. I don't just mean it's better than the Brosnan ones, it even beats a lot of the classic ones. Definitely worth seeing.

I like that this bond uses more strategy than just guns. Brosnan was always strafing around with machine guns. That wasn't what Bond was about. He also gets by with help from others. In this case Felix helps him out where he would have lost the game otherwise. He also gets a lot of help from his double crossing lady friend.

I've resisted the urge to download this movie. Since everybody keeps saying its so good, i'll only watch it when there's better quality available. I know there's a dvd already but the source seems a bit shaky. I think i'll wait a bit more.

I thought that it was a lot different to any of the previous Bond movies. It seemed more "gritty" and "real" than some of the previous offerings.
I didn't notice too many of the classic one liners. The spy gadgets also didn't play a very big part. Bond also seemed to be more of a cold hearted killer than portrayed in the previous movies.
That said, I was entertained and it didn't feel like just another Bond movie.
It will be interesting to see what the next movie is like.

I liked the movie as well. At First I thought that Daniel Craig was gonna send the whole Bond Franchise down the shitter, but after I saw it I had to say I was very suprised at how "Real" he portrayed the Bond Character. I own every single Bond film on retail DVD and I have to say he gave Bond such a "human" element to him it totally reinvites the title role and should invite more fans to the Bond Franchise.

Ive never enjoyed a Bond movie better than this one. That chase scene alone which ended up in the embassy just did it for me.
Craig is not as smooth as the previous Bonds but what he lacks in suave he more than makes up with his rugged style which definitely works in this film.
Cant say enough about the Bond girl in this film (i forget her name). Probably the best looking Bond girl ever.
