i voted meh. not that this movie is terrible, but it moves way to fast for the time alloted to bring u a story. u won't care for the characters in this film as they cum & go either. lol, from time to time this film reminds me of, "the neverending story". as this new so called, "dragon rider" takes to the sky it reminds me of Atreyu as he flies his flying dog. i feel that this may be a decent rental as it cums out, but as for the theatres i'd pass.
seems as though the ending left it free for a part 2. the evil wizard seems to have cum back from the dead. hopefully they will add some story to fill in the blanks that they seem to have left out in the first one and then make the 2nd a little more enjoyable.

Think Star Wars mixed with the LOTR series.
Not enough time is spent devolping the characters so you don't feel for them.
It's worth the download I'd say.

The evil wizard doesnt come back to life, its the king at the end not the wizard, wizard is dead from what i remember (his dragon was kickass tho).

Its not a bad movie, its just that they should have spent more time on chareters and perhaps made the movie 1-1,5 hours longer.
It feels like you are rushing trough the movie, and at times the comments and acting seems like it was ment for a real young publikum, like under 10 years.
They had a grate story, good actors and a good fx team, they could have made an awesome movie, but it looks like the desided just to make an movie people would watch, But noone is going to say this is the best movie ever when they are done watching it.
