i downloaded irc but it seems to be just a chat room basicly.
have i installed the right thing ? ;)
i use btorrent alot now
to be honest im loosing faith in kazaa i leave kazaa on sharing all day every day of the week i have not maneged to download any films for about 2-3weeks
no one seems to be sharing :(
i leave the speed up tool running so im continually looking for more scorces
i have 900 kb connection so speed is not a problem
and i am also not a leecher i always share what i can
anyway back to the origanal question
can any1 explain to me how irc works :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
any help would be gratefully recieved

That's because it's a chat program, not a filesharing program. However, files are shared between users there. Everything you could want to know is covered here. (http://www.mishscript.de/ircguide/index.htm) IRC has great speeds, the newest files, and a great community. Don't give up. :)

Couldn't resist the :rtfaq: but seriously irc is great, speeds are exceptional. I myself am just starting to dwell into file serving and how it works enjoy and good luck.Ps jibbler is the irc brain here I,m still a irc newbie. :P
