Haha, Buckley's good. But favorite? Ever? Not even close.
It's a tough call. I think Freddie Mercury, Prince, and Jimi Hendrix are different - but still great. I don't think I have a single preference...though, if I HAD to pick a band to listen to for the rest of my life it'd probably be Led Zeppelin. Jimmy Page is nuts.
