Hello!

I feel rather foolish writing this but I need music. I and my lady are in our 50's (unfortunately true) and will be taking our boat on a circumnavigation in April, 2003. I am not particularly computer smart, except when it comes to navigation. We will need vast amounts of music for this trip and have only a short time to acquire it. I was shown this site on sunday and have spent many hours trying to figure out how to record music, but have failed. Can I please get some help with this.....speak to me and guide me through like a child. THANKS very much from both of us. T & D

Start out by reading over the Frequently Asked Questions CLICK HERE (http://doa2.host.sk/faq.chm) . You may or may not understand some of it but when people start replying to you on this, you'll be able to make connections to what you read and have a better understanding. A lot of time & work has been put into the FAQ and it is very helpful.

Now for a stupid comment: Since you are interested in pirating music, will your boat be a pirate ship?

April 2003, if you start downloading music by now with klite you have to buy a bigger harddrive to take al the music with you on your trip. mp3 are gathered very quickly on kazaa. B) Almost faster then ripping.

There is no thing like foolish questions, or maybe just mine?

Did you download the Kazaa Lite filesharing program allready?
If not, you can do that HERE. (http://doa2.host.sk/)
Remember it's free, don't pay anyone for it.

After downloading Kazaa, open it in Windows and it gets installed automatically.

After that, read the FAQ's like Sneepboy said.

The Kazaa Lite program is very easy to use, so even trying without those FAQ's it couldn't be much of a problem.
You only have to point out 'audio files', then fill in the artist or tiltle, press 'search' and it starts searching.
After search you can easily doubleclick the files you want to download them.
To play your downloaded music you click 'my kazaa', click 'audio' and doubleclick the music you want to hear.

Good luck!
