What game do you prefer?
Counter-Strike 1.6 or Source
and why?
I prefer the 1.6 version due to the wallbanging and recoil
and I think that the 1.6 its a more tactic game.
Source it’s more an FPS game :)

I don't like ADs in my games so CSS ftw. 1.6 is like so ancient, and it bloody looks it. Just let it go.
CSS has just as good gameplay.

lol, u prefer a game u can use a more widely available wallhack and recoil hack? i'm sure u can in css as well, but more so in 1.6. how is 1.6 more strategic than css? i've played both and they both sux, but fun at the same time. whatever that means. also, why would u wanna play a quake2 engine game for? move on. unless ur poor.

Haven't played in a while but I prefer 1.6 cause I only play on a few maps and there's seems to be more people playing 1.6 than Source so it's easier to find a game. Although I do like the Source graphics.

Source is where it's at, although I don't play it because of the bastards that go running around with AWP's getting one shot kills, that pisses me off big time.

Why do you think that most of the pro clans dont wanna move to the source vertion?
Actualy Complexity its the only pro clan that moved to source.
and second of all thats nothig do with beaing poor im sure i have a way stronger copm that you do :)

1.6 was better when source first came out but now source has been updated and refined enough to just about take it's place imo.

1.6 was first cs that I played, and the best cs that I saw :P. Source is very diferent, it has another game physics which is worse than this in 1.6 for me.

started playing cs when 1.5 was out and continued to play cs on 1.6 but the shields really ruined the game for me.
So when source came out i was happy to move over. The worst thing about source is the hit boxes but its not as bad as it used to be.
I have tried going back to 1.6 but i dont like it anymore, not even the wallbanging :)
CSS has lots of differences to 1.6 like picking up other peoples grenades, killing people with a flashbang, no need to buy ammo, he nades cant hurt you through walls anymore and so on and so on! :)
i dont blame people for sticking with 1.6 tho as its what they are used to playing but enen most of the old school pros have moved over to source now so its only a matter of time until you all do hehehe :)

there are some things that i agree with what you said but none of the PRO teams didnt move to source exept complexity and they moved to source only couse a deale they made or so.
