Xvid Boot Disk?

Hi just wandering if anyone knows if there is a programme or boot disk that will allow xvid format to play on ps2 or normal home dvd players etc.Thanks in advance :rolleyes:

I'm fairly confident there isn't, but there was a topic a few days back about a new dvd player that can play divx (and xvid) cds.

there is a media player for the xbox on sourceforge somewhere.

wow quick replies!!!thanks :D,I am looking through the archives now this question is unresolved but i am sure there is a clever proggrammer out there that can do it ;) and no xbox isnt chipped yet :o.Oh yeah while i am on the subject damn sony and thier disk read error :lol: i feel better now B)
