Oh and that isnt the fastest, there is a Laser Line that only works with in a 50 mile ratius that sends I believe it was 100 Gbs/s

This stuff is FAST....i bet its gonna cost alot of $$$ though..I bet its like 10 times as expensive as T3 and normal people probably wont be able to get it for awhile.... :(

Posted by: 4play

it should not cost much more. with any luck it will bring the cost down.

this does not mean faster lines it is just a bit of optimization of the protocal used to transfer data.

it would just be a software update your end and new servers at your isp's end to cope with all this new data travelling fast.

this would mean that microsoft would have to steal freebsd's tcp stack again

Cost down.....sounds good to me

It'll make Xbox LIVE 60000 times faster if everyone on it gets it :)

Xbox Live is already very fast because of broadband only. There is pretty much no lag at all. I never have any. So it being that much faster wouldnt do much.

I know its fast. I have xbox live and the only thing that really makes it any slower is jumping in Unreal Championship
