Most memorable would be the 2005 European Cup Final, when Liverpool came back from 3-0 down to win. I almost stopped watching at half-time. I'm so glad I didn't :happy:
Also, the 1999 European Cup Final, when Man Utd won the game by scoring 2 goals in added time.
I can also remember when Arsenal stole the (what was then) English First Division Title by beating Liverpool 2-0 in the last match of the season, in 1989.
In terms in international football, nothing really stands out as much. England beating Holland 4-1 in Euro 96 is one though. Also England beating Germany 5-1 in Munich in 2001 was another one I remember. My earliest memory of an international match was in Spain 1982, first match of the World Cup. England beat France 3-1, and Bryan Robson scored in 27 seconds.
We should have won that world cup actually, we never actually lost a game. Stupid 2nd round group system, and also stupid Kevin Keegan's inability to head the ball... :frusty:

The Liverpool match was sheer fluke, first of all they won on penalties and second of all Shevchenko missed easy chances, which is rare. :P

The 1990 World Cup Netherland VS West Germany was a great one...I still remember Rijkaard gobbing in to Voller's ear from at least 6 yards away as if it were yeterday...was that the greatest shot ever???
