NeeD HelP - can't see the icons on the desktop..

Hi guys,
today i tried ASTON program, it's shit..
after uninstaling it.. i restarted the pc,
and now i don't see the icons on the desktop.. either the toolbar..!
i can't click right click on the desktop too..
what should i do?
HELP plz
i can't post a pic cuz i can't open the startmenu so i can't find the paint.. :(

Running XP or Vista? Try system restore. Keep tapping F8
during initial boot. Select restore, pick a date before you
installed that software. Works 70% of the time. Good luck.

you can also try creating a new user, similar things happened to me sometimes, and this helped.
BTW, you can try to start mspaint this way: ctrl-alt-del, task manager, file, new task (run...), and then type mspaint.

You can try and start something more useful than mspaint in the same way.
Try "explorer".
