Look, I still have a "member" for my custom name.. I am not seeing a "custom user title" in my edit profile page... are there any requirements in using custom title?? like number of post or number of weeks in membership??

No, changing it was disabled for members.
Probably an accident, I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to change it... :unsure:

Everything is alright now. I really don't see that option after some while.. maybe just like rossco said, it was disabled for member ( accidentaly..?)..

I think they have started disabling it for new members. So it is almost a privilege for those who are active contributors. I think it should be that way anyways

I think it should be that way anywaysIt's got nothing to do with that, all groups other than discipline groups and n00bs (the group you start in when you join, aka the first 30 days after u join) can choose a 'member title'.
