1.4TB plus some unused space on operating system partitions ... including my fileserver that works as both backup and storage. The only RAID I run is a 160GB Raid-0 on my fileserver for important data. Anything else could be wiped out for all I care - there's always the possibility to download it again or copy it from a friend. And yeah, I don't have any kind of other backups (CD, DVD), so those 1.4TB are always 3/4 filled. 90% of the stuff I download is deleted again and sometimes I archive it in 720p/1080i highdef quality if available.

When I got a new PC I lost everything that was saved onto it from my old PC, so that's about 40gb lost and I've filled almost 60GB of this computers 80GB space. I'm looking into buying another HD, possibly a 500GB. Need to find the money first though. It's mainly TV seasons, episodes, movies and music.

I had a 40 gig harddrive and i only used 5 gigs always. It burned out or whatever so I had to get a new one. I was looking for a 20gig one cause i had little money to spend. The cheapest I found was a 160 gig.. thats what I got now.. ill probably only use 5 gigs of it also

I've got an external 250GB disk with ext3 file system and a internal 320GB for my Linux setup, and I'm planning on buying another 1TB disk (the green power disk from Western Digital) - the 160GB disk is only used for the system.
And then I have a 1TB disk for storage and file sharing in my Windows Setup and the same applies here the 160GB disk is only for the system and the applications.
