Qt Alternative - Fails On Install !

Ok, sorry to bother all, the problem is : I canīt install the Quicktime Alternative !
Iīve tried the 1.00, 1.10 and 1.11, but none of them installs !
When I try installs the message appears : in a dos box ( something like couldīn find files.... ) in the 1.11 the dos box close and we canīt read the message...
The qtplugin.log contents is :
ERROR: RegQueryValueEx(hQuickTimeKey, "InstallDir") returned 2
Plug-in install failed with error -43
In the control panel - quicktime icon, the same error appears when I try change the mime settings !
In the tab File associations is :
Some quicktime viewer applications do not appear to be properly installed.
I have tried a lot of time to reinstall, but the errors still the sames...
Iīm using Windows 98 SE.

*do you have the normal quicktime on your HD?
*make sure that all files off quicktime are removed (C:\Program Files\QuickTime)
*install Quicktime alternative

* the same error occurs !
Hum, is a bit harder we could expect !

I donīt know ! maybe is a bug in development ! When I communicate it to the Edskes he told me to post it here, so donīt be nervous and judge others...
