Jackass No Audio

Hi,
I have downloaded Jackass the movie. First TMPGEnc would not recognise the file as it is XVid.avi. I then installed the Xvid codec and that then allowed the file to be selected and started to convert it to mpeg.
However I have no sound. Using AVIcodec program it says its mpeg 3 layer audio. Could anyone advise me how to fix this please.
Also when the file is converted its too big to fit onto 1 CD so I need to split it. Again using TMPGEnc do I convert it first then split it using File/Mpeg tools/merge and cut option...or is there some other way to do it ?

Yeah I had the same problem myself. Try using DVD2SVCD or dl besweet and extract the audio as a separate file and then choose the new file as you audio source.
This works for me 99% of the time.
