Alex Ferguson goes on celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
He answers all the questions right up to the one but last, without using any lifelines and is all set to win the million.
The last question appears:
"Which of these animals lives in a sett"
A: FOX
B: BADGER
C: SQUIRREL
D: CUCKOO
Alex isn't too certain so he asks the audience.
The audience response isn't too great.....26% say fox, 28% say badger ,22% say squirrel, 24% say cuckoo.
He decides to go 50/50 which leaves a choice of badger or cuckoo.
He's still not sure and doesn't want to blow it so he decides to phone a friend.
"I'll call my good friend David" he says....."David Beckham".
David Beckham answers the phone and Alex puts the two possibilities to him.
"It's definately badger" says David......"how sure are you says Alex"....."100%.., no 200%" says David.
Alex goes with the answer and wins the million quid for charity.
Next day at training Alex goes up to David Beckham and thanks him.
"One thing i gotta ask you", Alex says......how were you so sure the answer was badger when me and everyone was stumped?
"It was obvious" says David......everyone knows a cuckoo lives in a clock!
