finding a scene release

I've been searching around for a (somewhat) obscure scene release of a TV documentary that aired on bbc back in Nov/Dec 2006.
My question is this... after something is released (in this case the group was REMAX) is there a place it is stored or can be obtained from?
Or should i assume if i can't find it on any of the torrent sites...i'm out of luck?

Every site has different rules so you'd have to search for it on the different sites to see if it's still out there. If you would have provided a name I would have helped you for a few min looking to see if I could have found it.

you could always try emule, files live longer there. just make sure you get on a good server. Failing that it could be on usenet or a torrent tracker that specialises in uktv.
