i have win98se. i aslo have sympatico . my internet is suppost 2 run at 1meg. but it isnt. so i call my isp up and they tell me that in order to achieve my 1mb service i must go out and by winxp. i think that is a ripoff. sympatico highspeed is about 40-45$ a month. now that alot 2 spend on internet. now i gotta go buy a 200$ program. thats just gay. :angry:

They both use the same network protocols so that doesn't make any sense at all.

Thats rubbish! You dont need XP for highspeed internet! It should run at 1mb on any operating system! What speeds are you downloading at?
