Well FIFA 09 is quite average this year but I really liked to play "be a pro". Let's just hope that PES 2009 has a few more licences.

Both FIFA and PES have no new this year, I feel they are the same except some enhanced graphic works, but the game play sucks on both sides.

PES gameplay is miles better than FIFA gameplay.
FIFA is only a lot better in the amount of leagues and licenses it has, in the rest PES beats them by a lot.

I played FIFA until PES 5 came out. After that I changed my opinion.
I have played football on a very high level myself, and I can say PES has most realistic gameplay.

Haven't played FIFA, but PES is excellent. The depth of PES is astounding, though it has its issues. Feels like a rehash, the referees are idiots and this rant is mainly due to me losing against my brother.
