ok, so i installed 2 sticks of 256k yesterday, but in system info, it tells me i only have 256k memory. what gives?

Older systems often fail to recognize or register large ram modules and apparently some versions of win9x will only use one large module or some maximum amount.
MS has a fix of sorts but your Bios or OS may just not see that second module.

Mother board have a max, guesing but a board with a 700mhz cpu MAY ( i dunno) be under that max, other suggestions good ones too.
