Hi, if i could take you time for a bit, i have a q? Is there any way, feature that would make my NEW POSTS window more comfortable to me? a dont like the way that the Latest NZB Posts (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/nzbindex.php)are in this window and i would like to be now informed about these new topics. Is there any filter witch i could use? Thanks people for any ideas.

You can actually exclude certain forums, if you set up a special hyperlink...
e.g.
http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/search-getnew/&exclude=80,106,107,108,120 will exclude any new posts in the newsgroups sections.
At the time this was implemented it was discussed whether it should form part of the board software, but it was thought to be too specific to each individual user to be useful.
However, feel free to put the link in your sig, or in your browser favourites, etc :smilie4:

sorry, again, i tryed to set it up, and also change the link little bitt, but still i get the Oops, Page Not Found massage.
What i am doing wrong?

Oh dammit, the board software is haxxxing my link.
http://filesharingtalk.com /vb3/http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/search-getnew/&exclude=80,106,107,108,120
That's what it should be. (minus the space)

thank you...you tryed...but really not working for me...dont know, still the same OOPPSSS, page not found. BUt I get it (exclude=80,106,107,108,120 is the key to du that, i would try to play with it a little).
If you have any idea why is not working for me,let me know.
P.s NZBs are ok, but if I want to read the topics written it is anoyng

Try
http://filesharingtalk.com /vb3/http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/search-getnew/&exclude=80,106,107,108,120
... but taking out the space.
Note, disregard what I said earlier about putting it in your sig. Probably won't work, but it will in your favourites, because that's where I've got it.

http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/search-getnew/&exclude=80,106,107,108,120Whats the problem, barb? One try.

1. Add the following to your favorites/bookmarks - http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/search-getnew/&exclude=
(Note: That link will not "work" just yet; it needs to be tweaked)
2. Open a new window and view any section of the forum. You'll see in the URL there is a number at the end. For example, movie NZBs have an "80" at end of the URL. For any sections of the forum you wish not to view, add that number followed by a comma at the end of the above URL in your bookmark.
For example, this is the bookmark I use:
http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/search-getnew/&exclude=15,62,80,90,106,107,108,120

It doesn't bloody work :frusty:
The original link I'm posting is a PHP link, but the board software changes it behind the scenes
Anyway, I got a PM from the OP that he finally got it working, and that I had made his day
