Delete A Few Minutes

Does anyone know how I can delete a couple of minutes before a burn it to a cd.
The problem is : I dl a concert and the first 20 minutes is just applause, I want to get rid of that before I burn it to a cd, cause I obviously do not want to listen to people applauding for 20 minutes but it is also too long and if I burn it i miss the last half hour.
Help much apprieciated

IN the guide provided below in the link in my sig part of the svcd guide is how to split video (take of the part you do not want).
